G35C bra

Has anyone had a leather bra on their G yet? If so, how did you like it? I'm in the market to buy one and curious of the feedback. If anyone is selling one, please PM me also.
Thanks!

Don't do it man... Don't do it! For the sake of your G, don't do it. Here's just a few reasons:

1) Will scratch you paint beyond recognition.
2) The paint that is exposed to the sun will bleach out at a different rate from the areas covered by the bra. You have just created "tan lines" on your car. There are places for tan lines, but the front of your car is not, in my humble opinion, one of them.
3) Water and moisture is easily trapped under the bra. The water will be trapped by the felt lining and this nice warm wet environment promotes the growth of mold. Molds produce acids that can etch your paint. So unless your car has a social disease and needs the penicillin, don't use a leather bra.

Sooo.. Your best option is a ClearBra (paint protection film). It's a clear thin film that goes over your front bumper, portions of the hood, and most "forward" surfaces of your car to protect it from stone chips, bug gut damage, etc. It will not cause your paint to fade differently. Do a search and you can find out more information than you ever wanted to know.

Good Luck!

^^^ wat he said.

dont use it in the rain, make sure you put plenty of wax on the hood/bumper.

i'd recommend the clearbra over the regular bra. those things look too 1980's...

All of what they said is true. BUT! You can always remove the bra when not in use. I only install mine when I have to do a lot of driving. Local driving I leave it off. It's just a hassle putting it on and taking it off. But it does it's job for what it's worth.

That's what I'm thinking as well...I know the clear bras are pretty pricey and I don't plan on driving on the highway for too much longer.

However, I haven't heard about the scratching part. I'd imagine it can do that if the car isnt clean but if you wash the car, put it on for a few days while I'm commuting to work, and then take it off during the weekends, wouldn't that be ok? It is more of a pain but used bras = $75 and clear bras = $$$

Just make sure you have a clean front bumper and hood and it should be ok. Scratches if any will be very minor almost invisible. A good tip when installing the bra is make sure you put it under the sun for about 10 mins. This way you can easily pull the ends to lock the clips in place.

mine came with the car. had it on for maybe 3 weeks. took it out bc it is just too ugly. fitting is not too bad, but never that tight & good. water & stuff gets stuck under the bra, making a mess. id rather just get my bumper chipped now & get a paint job later.

For a cross country trip, I would use one. They do look a little 80's

I only use mine for trips and it works great. On in 5 minutes, when you get there, wipe it down, take it off, and fold it up.

The first time you install it will take some time. After that, Like the poster above stated
5-10 min.'s Note: Just made a trip down to So Cali with the bra on.
Not one chip at all!! Its worth the money.
