TOP SECRET valance

Last week I ran into another car that missed a stop light. The damage wasn't bad, but gave me an excuse to replace the valance which I was going to replace anyway. I opted for the Top Secret (authentic) and was amazed at the fitment and quality.I do agree, however, with other threads I have read, that the wire used to hold in the grill material is inadequate. The aluminum wire used was already missing in several spots.(simple fix but annoying considering the cost and overall quality). I ordered a different grill material in a hexagon shape (80% open) and had it painted in a gun metal black to better blend with the components behind the valance.Next step will be the Vortech SC...I will post pic's when I get the car back next week.

Post some pics of the mesh, but you should have gotten some customautomesh. It's higher quality and doesn't require painting so no chipping.

Top secret valance

I purchased it from Intense Motorsports (IM Racing) $938.00.However, they charged 162.00 to ship by independent cartage company. The box was big but only 30 lbs.and I think with a little smaller packing job UPS could have delivered it for 35.00 max.

since its a fiberglass kit, no shop will do a shotty job packing it, especially since its an imported bumper that you paid a lot for. the box alone for that size bumper is already aroun $20-25, so theres no way UPS wouldve gotten it there for $35. the shops just looking out for you, at least expect to spend $100 or more for shipping for stuff like that.

Hello,

We only shipped one of these in September. This must be you. Thanks for the purchase. Just to clarify, you were charged our website price, $919.00:

http://www.intensepower.com/topfrbug35co.html

Neither UPS, FedEx, nor DHL pick up products this large. Full bumpers have to ship via truck freight. You were actually charged $165.00, which is a great price! Normally shipping for full bumpers range from $175.00-$200.00. This is an industry standard. If you get a quote for less, then the company is eating part of the profit that they are making off of the product. In your case, we actually lost money on shipping, therefore losing profit on the actual product.

Thanks again for buying the product.
