What's that black thing inside the foglight reflector? Is that a "citylight/angel eyes" thing? Did that come stock on the 06', or did you add that? Did you clear out the amber reflector too, or is that clear on the 06'? I thought that was just an Asian domestic market thing.

Damn it! I want the 06 lights now. Bi-xenon. Projectors. Clear turn signal. City light. It's such a huge improvement over the older ones. I've done retros before and they are a PITA. One thing that I want to see is the cutoff of the light against a wall from about 30ft away from a flat wall. That will tell us how sharp the cutoff is and how wide the light is projected.

G6MT. Could you take a couple of snapshots when it's done to see the performance of the lights? I'm sure a bunch of members are wanting to see this.

The fog bulb is prob different, because on the 05' and previous models, the fog doubled as the high beam, so it needed a multi-filament bulb. Since the 06' is bi-xenon, the fog bulb is just a fog, so it only needs a single filament bulb.

I just looked it up in the online owners manual.

The 06' Fog lights are H1. It also says to see the dealer to replace the front parking lights, which I assume are the city lights I mentioned earlier. I wonder why? I'm guessing there isn't an easy access port, so you'd have to remove the headlight housing to replace it.

In the 05' manual, I couldn't find a listing for the foglight. But in the 06' manual, it shows the sedan as using H4. I assume that's the same as the previous model coupes.

Here's a cutoff pic of the old bulb 4000K(Modded) and a 8000K D2R

The front turn signals are T20, and the parking and side marker lights are T10.

I also noticed it says that the rear side marker lights are LEDs on the sedan, but regular T10 on the coupe

And count me in on an 06' Headlight group buy
