WIDE body & WHEELS ?? QUESTION

so there are some nice wide bodies out there. but i wanted to do a one off custom at this body shop that i go too. of course going wider mean wider wheels then what is currently suppose to fit your car. in going wider how can you drive your car? as in turning it because biggest size ive seen 19 9.5, 10.5 or 20 9.0 10.5(11) but as far as the front how would u turn your "big body"? so who can answer that for me that would be great. or is when i go wide your **** out of luck?

i think wheel spacers solve the problem up front but im not sure. look into the offset and wheel spacers on a 240sx forum or something. theres bound to be info there ,but i dont know many people with widebody g35s. good luck

i'm not sure what you're trying to say. you can turn regardless of upgrading to wider wheels or not. adding wide body only changes the body size/shape of the car. nothing mechanical, or whatnot. what exactly are you saying???? many JDM brands that spank Volk offer up to 14" wide wheels. many who go the widebody route use the same, 9.5 / 10.5" widths, but add Kics Project spacers to bring them out flush with the fender.

Those Works wheels are sick. Im actually thinking about going wide-body kit as well, too many KS kits out there now, just not sure if to go with Veilside or Top Secret. Would like the Veilside but the wait is very long. May have to put my DPE 10" on the front and buy 2 DPE 13" or 14" for the rears. Those tires are going to cost me big time. Just need to plan this out.

From what Ive heard theres 8 TS wide-body in the U.S. and only 1 Veilside. Theres one TS kit coming in few weeks, and Veilside is almost impossible to get. Unless someone has a connection. TS fitment is good, just not sure about veilside fitment, and is about $1300 more, possibly because it comes with a hood. Ive called few bodyshops for install/paint, just not sure whether to keep stock color and blend kit, or just do a complete color change.

John in SJ is doing TS right now. He just got his HRE's in. What kind of price did the bodyshop give you?

I think we have 7-8 widebody kits out there but they're scattered around the U.S. (even one in Hawaii) I think the Havoline G is running 11 inch wide wheels up front and 13 inch wide wheels in the rear with our widebody.

If I remember right, the Veilside widebody is even wider. Not sure about what you've heard but I think it's just special order. We have acess to Veilside parts so if you're interested, just drop me a line.

if you go wide....you gotta change the color up since more attention will now be paid to the car....

i konw the car will be drivable. but can you still turn as good? compared to stock i know you cant turn as good but will it be bad enough to where i cant drive my car on the streets? i dont like the idea that my G will look nice but just sit in the garage and come out maybe 3-6 times a year for shows.
thanks for the imput guys.
as far as veilside or topsecret. i might just have my shop do me a custom wide body.
