I got both rear emblems off and cleaned the rear within 30-45 min.

There are several ways of doing this:

1) Goo Gone or WD-40... both really good. You may also find some other 'sticker remover' chemicals, but be careful because there are a couple out there that actually damage the clear coat. Goo Gone and WD-40 can both be found for cheap at any Walmart, Target, etc. Apply a lot of either one until the stickers are saturated.
Then...

2) Heating up the emblems (mainly the double-sided mounting tape) is key.
a) -If you have a heat gun (hair dryer works too), that is the best and quickest method. Heat up the emblems until you can 'jigle' them around, the stickers will be real soft.
b) -if you don't have either... or you live in an apartment complex with no outlets to power anything; you can use the power of the sun. It may sound absurd, but it works; not as good as heating with a heat gun though. The darker the car the better of course... Let the emblems sit in direct sunlight until you get the same soft 'jigle' effect like from a heat gun.
Then...

3) I highly recommend floss because a credit card used the wrong way can actually scratch. Take the floss and do exactly what you would with your teeth... go in between the emblems and car (preferably as closest to the car's surface) and floss away. The emblems will pop off and there will some sticker residue..

4) Use the Goo Gone or WD-40 again and generously apply it to the sticker left overs... Give it about 5 min in complete saturation and you should be able to rub all of it off... the option before this is to heat up the sticker left over to get it soft.

That's what I did.. was quick and painless
