I just want that "smoke" effect in my car for both the sides and rear windshield and was wondering if anyone has ever been harrassed by the po-po for having it. I've read somewhere that it is illegal to have any tint on the front side windows in NJ, but 50% isn't that dark at all. But, there is always that one bitter po-po who will give away tickets!

 

Yes, In NJ, it is illegal to have any percent tint on your front 2 windows. However, I live in NJ and had 35% tint on my old car for the past 5 years..i have only been pullled over 1 time for it and my PBA card got me out of the ticket. It all depends on the cop I guess...most will not pull you over for it
