spoiler removal?*warning noob question*

sorry guys i just got a G and im just wondering is it easy to remove the stock wing? im just asking cuz i got an 06 and i wanna take off that stubby one and replace it with the 05 or older style. If it is rather easy can anyone tell me how?

I think you would be better off just swapping the entire trunk lid.

I am pretty sure there are a bunch of bolts with holes drilled in the lid holding that puppy on.

think twice about doing that.
there're like 4 bolts and tons of 3M tape that hold the sucker down.
it is a bitch to remove them

mmm... what do you guys suggest? I can prob send it to a friends garage to have it done... cuz dealerships are a waste of money..

OldVFRGuy had it right in his post.
Find someone with the same car and same colour, who has no spoiler but wants one. Then you can just swap trunk lids and put whatever spoiler you want on the new one.
