Look on the inside, you will see holes where the covers are semi-glued to, just pop them out. You may need to scrape some of the glue off first before you attempt to pop them out, but once you push them out, you will hear a little "snap" sound, that's it.

So disappointed, no XMOD for Christmas for me! You guys wanna take a guess where I'm heading for lunch today? LOL

BTW, you guys are out of control, there really is more tech-talk on this thread than the rest of the board.

For any of you guys going to buy the XMODS G35 in RadioShack, do you notice if they are selling just the G35 Body without buying the starter kit?, I would like to start on a new paint color. The guy in the store said it should be a few weeks, well it's a few weeks.

Also, anyone see this in the stores available to buy (Custom RC Chassis Upgrade): http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search

I don't think it would even work with the Evolution series , just haven't seen it in stores.

Problem with mine.... HELP!

To those who have them, I've got a problem with mine....Everything is put together and it runs...sort of.... when I hold it off the ground and pull the trigger, it runs....tires spin etc.... but when I put it on the gound( wood, carpet, vinyl ) doesn't matte,r it just sits there.. and kinda bounces in place just barely and goes no where..... What is wrong?
***and they have brand new batteries**
ANY IDEAS!?

Nice car, nice tank. Your tank looks familiar. Are you on reef central? You have alot of fish in there. I have a 29G reef but I can never get it to sstableize. Right now I have a Royal Gramma and a True Perc Clown. Love your polyps and leathers. Looks great! Such a nice tank for a home. I think I'm going to take mine down and re-set it up when I'm old and have nothing in my life.

I just painted mine black... several coats of gloss black followed by two or three coats of clear. It is still tacky and will easily fingerprint, so I guess I will have to wait longer for it to dry before I can think about posting any pics. How long did it take for ya'lls to dry?

Also... my wheels are pretty darn wobbly.. so much so that they touch the suspension parts. That is, the inside of the wheels can actually rub the chassis they wobble so much. Did yours do this before the metal bearings and if so how much did the bearings tighten it up? It's driving me crazy

These things are pretty fun to try to make into little mini-Gs
