People go nuts with these things *looks around*. Did you put your order in yet? I double checked today at Radioshack for the chassis kit, they don't carry it in the stores . My paint job is pretty much done, waiting for the hood and mirrors to dry, may post pics tonight (could have done a better job painting, first shot at it).

Nice, that should hold you over for now, OH!, I didn't see you mention the Stage 2 Motor kit, tell her to try to find that before she ships it, makes a difference. That guy on ebay is nuts, hrmm, I wonder if he sells his conversion kit separately (his motor and 7 AAA battery conversion).

Think of it this way, at least you will have a drivable G with you in Iraq, can't complain about the size, size doesn't always matter (so the chicks say).

the bearing kit helped so much. Id say the 2 must have upgrades are the 4WD kit and the bearing kit. Stage 1 and stage 2 motors are basically the same. Stage one seems to have more power, stage 2 has less power down low. harderr to drift so the car just spins out.

F that, now I need to upgrade my motor to keep up with you, you even need FI in your RC car .

Note about painting, be careful when spraying your base coat. You know after we wash our cars how the mirrors leak water?, well guess what? THEY LEAK ON THE DAMN XMODS CAR TOO. They really did a good job designing it after the G, I had to resand and repaint, learned my lesson the first time.

You really think the metal bearing kit helped a lot? How so? I didn't purchase that kit, maybe I should.

These new EVOLUTION series cars are fast out of the box, but the Stage 2 motor makes a difference I think, which gearing did you decide to go with? I am running 12-23. 12 (pinion gear), 23 (second gear), with the 12-23 spacer. That is rated the highest for torque and speed.

Yea the bearing kit is a must. It keeps the wheels solid and now the wheels will spin if i hold it in the air for a second or 2 longer than before.

I was using my new motor and i would go around to turn and the motor would bog down and the car would spin out so i geared it lower. Its on the lowest setting for most torque and still barley breaks the tires loose. I am running super soft tires also, but it handels good on the wood.

Im not sure whats wrong but htere is because when i go to steer the steering twitches and it makes the car crash and its really annoying. If i go fast and try to drift around the corner the steering will twitch and i hit the wall.
