Nismo Rear Diffuser on a '05?

Anyone know if the Nismo rear diffuser will fit on an '05 coupe? I read that the Nismo bumper wont fit on the '05, but I can't find anything about the rear diffuser.

Thanks!

Must be wrong, as the front and rear of the '05 is the same. BTW, the NISMO front bumper fits the '05 perfectly. The diffuser is being painted but I don't expect any problems fitting it. It mounts over the existing part of the OEM bumper (visually seperated by a detail line). I'll try to post back after it's installed.

Again, my bodyshop was extremely impressed with the fit of the authentic NISMO front bumper. I watched them fit it myself, so let me know where the snag is supposed to be and I'll let you know if they encountered any issue with it and how the resolved it. It required no modification to fit, but there are two OEM styrofoam inserts that help support the lower/outer corners of the OEM urethane bumper. These two pieces just slide out and haven't shown any ill effects from removing. The fibergalss NISMO unit is a lot more rigid and doesn't need anything of that sort. These two foam inserts caused the sides of the NISMO (top corner above corner-marker lenses) to bulge a bit and be off about 1/8" each side. I could see a lot of bodyshops seeing that as acceptable, but removing those foam inserts gave a completely OEM level of fit without any fuss. The authentic piece is well worth the money, IMO.

thanks for the info man... I just remember reading in another post that the Nismo front bumper wouldn't fit an 05 - but if you got it on your car, then those posts must've been wrong I was looking into getting the Nismo front bumper, but I'll be putting a twin turbo on in a couple months, so I'll probably go with the Greddy or Top Secret front to give the intercooler a little more breathing room. For now though I think I'll order that rear diffuser - just been waiting for someone to tell me it would fit!

When you get everything put on post a pic, I'd love to see it-
Thanks again,
Zack

I'd jump on that if I was still in the market for one. I waited about 3 months for mine to arrive, only to find out the box contained the side/rear diffusers for the aero kit. It was about another 1.5 - 2 months until the proper piece arrived. I had to wait for other special-order parts as well, but this diffuser was my special-order PITA (speaking about wait-time only). The supplier was as helpfull as they could be and corrected the wrong-part problem at their own cost.

If you're thinking about getting this part any time soon, availability to ship immediately is a huge selling point.

No, I didn't. I don't really like the way they stand off the side of the car. And they're pretty expensive for something I'm not fond of.
