Grill removal on coupe?

Hey Guys,

Just picked up my SP Grill from a fellow member. Is the grill pretty easy to remove? I was searching for a DIY but didn't find one. I was told to remove the top 4 push-pins and then 2 screws from the bottom.

I haven't attempted to install it yet (will do so this weekend). Any info appreciated...

Yea, it's really easy to take off. There are some push-screws on top and then two more screws between the bars of the grill.

that website told me to : Next rotate the two side screws that are holding the grill in place. These can be located at the backside of the left and right side of the grill.
I dont see any screws in the back that hold the grill in place. can anyone show me a picture or teach me how to take off the grill please?

I just recently replaced my '05 Coupe's OEM grill with a Gialla grill. In total in took all of 10 minutes, if that much.

1. Remove the 4 black plastic plugs on the top of grill. Save these, you will reuse them.

2. In the upper right and left corners of the OEM grill there are 2 rectangular slots. At the rear of the said slots there are 2 - 1/4" x 1/4" plastic tabs. There 2 tabs are positioned diagonally to 2 inner 1/4" x 1/4" openings. With a long flathead screwdriver, turn the 2 tabs until they are lined up with the 2 openings in the rear. Gently pull on the top of the grill and the same will slide forward.

3. Located at the very bottom of the grill there are 4 long plastic tabs, which are attached to the grill. These said tabs are secured through 4 slots, which are part of the upper bumper. Slowly and carefully pull from either right or left untill all 4 tabs have cleared the slots in the bumper.

My Gialla grill simply was re-installed using the 4 black plastic plugs, which were removed earlier. Have fun!

Thumbs up Thank you

Hi guys,

Thanks for the informative posts. I am perhaps the least mechanically inclined person on this site, and I found this info really helpful when installing my Z Sport Horns. My Andre the Giant-sized hands needed all the help possible to squeeze back there.

Thanks again and happy holidays!
