Data System R-Spec Lip
I was looking at the Data System R-Spec Carbon Fiber Front Lip for the G35 Coupe, and did a search....i gathered that the holes to attach this lip are located on the side of the bumper and not underneath...and when you remove the lip it leaves the holes that need to be fixed.....
Is this correct? Anyone know how this attaches??? I rather have the screws go from underneath..so it can be removed and leave the front of the bumper untouched!

ok, to clear some things up, the lip does not require holes to be drill;ed on the bumper. The holes on my bumper were from the OEM lip. The problem was that the data lip is lower than the oem lip which left holes from the OEM lip revelead. (I plugged them so they aren't as noticable) The Data is mounted by 2 screws on each side on the back side of the bumper on the wheel well facing the front of your front tires. There are 2 holes on the bottom, 1 on each side, which use the existing 10mm bolts, but the bolts and hole did not line up correctly so I left that alone. I only mounted it with the self taping screws which do require drilling on the wheel well part of the front bumper, and plenty of strong black oem double sided tape all along the lip. good luck!

Thanks for the pics.....I appreciate all the help! WHERE did you buy it from and how much? I found it for $6xx. at intense motorsports
Do you have one more, but not a ground shot. A regular pic of the front so i can see what it looks like from a normal height?
Thanks!

The one thing that annoys me about the Data Lip is that it doesnt fit the slanted groove on the bumper and is just straight all around which doesn't make it look integrated. Allforthecash, here's a pic of my lip on it's original owner's car. I don't know where to get the lip for cheaper but it's the price to pay for exclusivity. I don't know anyone else in California with my lip and the only other person in this forum with this lip other than myself is Roller_G on his black G35.
