Urethane Kuruma Z G-spec bumper Test-fit pictures

There is a link in the vendor's classified forums regarding a group buy for this bumper. Here is the link. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78109

This is a test-fit version of the bumper only. The actual bumper will be coming soon.

oh yeah, it rained like hell in so-cal this whole new year's weekend, so sorry Yuichi, i couldn't get the car washed in time!

The fitment of the bumper looks really great. even with the aftermarkt Gialla grill on my car, the bumper fitted without any problems. I can't say how the bottom clips on the stock grills would fit with this bumper since I didn't bring my stock grill. But the areas for the sidemakers even better looking than stock because the space is deeper for the lenses so it flushes really nice with the bumper.

I really like the overall appearance of the bumper too. The black color of urethane hides alot of details but on lighter colored cars(like mine), you will be able to see alot more designs and angles.

I'll most likely have another bumper painted and installed by the end of this week, so I'll take more pictures of the finished product once I get the car back.

Due to the quality issue of urethane used to produce this particular bumper, I'm waiting on the shop to make a new bumper using different urethane.
Stay tuned.

i know its based off the design of the greddy but hows the clearance on this piece ?

the greddy bumper is so freaking low..its kinda unbearable esp with a drop.

Nice, I can't wait to get mine, especially since my current bumper is being held together by zip ties

with the current suspension setup, i think i'm about 2 inches or so lower in the front than a stock G. I actually did measure the clearance in the front bumper...sorry didn't take any pictures of this....

with the stock bumper on, a pack of Marlboro Lights will clear under my bumper. with the Kuruma Z bumper, the top of the cigarette box did not clear under the bumper.

so it is lower than stock bumper but definitely not lower or as low as the GReddy bumper.

hope that helps.

I'm picking up the bumper from the shop in about 2 hours....i'll be dropping it off at the bodyshop to get it painted. Hopefully everything will be ready for a photoshoot by the end of this week.

How is the height of the bumper in relation to the OEM side skirts.
Is this bumper noticably lower than the side skirts?

it is lower than the stock side skirts but it hangs just as low as the bottom of the splash guards.
