Greddy Front and Side owners, question

im gonna be buying the greddy front and sides soon along with a kenstyle rear, for those of you that have it atm, do you regret it? from what i hear it is very low to the ground, i live in miami whihc is flat for the most part except the 30000 speed bumps. Is it worth the money and would you have either not bought one or bought a different one after having it?

05 6mt, Stock suspension

my friend has a GReddy front and side skirts on his coupe..he actually had to raise the car up about 2 inches or so(he has TEIN Flex kit) to get enough clearance on his car. The fiberglass GReddy uses is super strong though...the GReddy bumper actually creased his stock front fenders when he hit a dip a while ago....the bumper didn't even crack.

I'm going to assume that he meant he had the FLEX coilovers with it already slammed and then raised it BACK up 2". then again i'm just astute like that.

ride hieght

hey,

I had the greedy bumper and sides installed a few weeks ago. The fitment was perfect (actual greddy) and its very low. I live in los angeles and i scrape on stuff... but too me its worth it....there hasnt been any damage or anything like that...

however.....

im goign to get the jic suspension and if i do.. i will probably raise the car an inch or two for street driving.

I dont regret it at all though... it looks smooth...and it fits the car really well...

f

just be prepared for a few cringes when you scrape... its always on the bottom though so you cant see it....just dotn drive like a moron

Can we get some actual numbers here? How many inches off the ground is a greddy front with stock suspension? I know in CT there is some law requiring 4 inches of ground clearance. I was going to get this kit myself, but here in CT there are lots of up and down in/out of parking lots etc. If I have to buy new suspension to raise the car a few inches, which ones would you recommend?

Ive got the greddy with Tien S-Tech's and 20" rims. Personaly before I got the rims It was WAY to Low, and i scrped every were i went. After putting the 20's on, some how my ride hight went up a little and now it rides pretty good. I only scrape on very steep/Large speed bumps.

Going with IRVINE78 said the kit is accually that strong! I hit a bump the first month I had it and it creased my fender as well. Very minor though.

Oh and by the way I live outside of Philadelphia were the roads are pot hole infested and the weather is bad for the winter. If your in Miami i think you will be ok.

I just finished putting the Greddy front on my car and it's exactly one inch lower than the stock bumper. I can't make it up my driveway anymore without scraping. I don't have enough space to enter the driveway sideway so I have to park my car outside on the street now. What to do what to do.

Just learn how to angle guys.

This was my daily driver for the last 3yrs before I got my G.

Most of the people having problems driving their lowered+kitted cars are fairly new to it. Either they JUST got their kit, or this is their first car they've got a kit and lowered it on. Have someone who's been driving one for a while show you how to angle. You'll get the hang of it sooner or later, you'll learn how to read driveways/speedbumps so you know what angle to enter it at. Or to use better judgement when someones its not possible to make it. Sometimes you just have to park in the street or find a diffrent driveway etc. Like all the gas stations, supermarkets, etc in my area, I know which driveways are easier to make it up than the other ones. Sometimes you have to go out of your way by going to the furthest driveway or whatever. Just do whatever it takes, an extra minute of my time to go around is well worth protecting your $1-2,000 bodykit investment.
