very very easy. just pop the hood, and pull it out. the ones on the ends are the hardest ones to pop out, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon

You may be able to plate it with something, as they can chrome-plate plastic, but it's not going to be cheap. You might consider having it sprayed with a satin black paint (less glossy than semi-gloss, but not as flat as flat-black). That way, it will match the rest of your black trim on the car.

The grill is attached to the bumper with clips. The grill has prongs that slide/clip into those. Not too bad with the bumper off, but I'm not sure how much room you have to work with when it's installed.

Sorry to hijack thread, but is it bad to clean the grill and badges w/ chrome polish since the grill is made of plastic and not chrome metal? For some stupid reason I thought the grill was chrome...

i wasnt sure if ings sold a grill, i was just noticing the grill on the picture in the ad at the top of the page. I was quoted for 60 bucks to paint (not powdercoat, sorry). i just think this is the best looking grill that i have seen so far, trying to get away from the chrome thing and match with the lower "air ducts" on the lower bumper. Thanks for the replys

The grill is easily removed. Simply remove the 4 round plastic pins, if you will, located at the top of the grill. Located at both the upper right hand and left hand corners, lodged inside of the grill are 2 square plastic type screws. Allign those 2 screws with the rear slot and the upper portion of the grill will be loose.

At the bottom of the grill, on the inside, are a series of long plastic tabs. These tabs are lodged into the upper bumper. Simply grab hold of the lower portion of the grill and pull it out. Good luck!
