Few quick questions w/ G35putih's ING'S DUCTS

I'm going to pick up a set tomorrow--what double sided tape is strong enough to use so that I don't run the risk of having it fall off on the freeway or something!!! haha can never be too careful

What grit sand paper is used to sand down the bottom of the ducts so they can allign w/ the OEM lip?

And lastly where do I get the chrome stripping?

Also thanks for the review Silverbolt =D

TIA

As for tape - use 3M double stick tape suitable for interior exterior use. It's the one with the red peel tape. Comes in 2 different widths, one is like 1/4 or 1/2 inch the other is about 3/4 or 1"

Use the double sided tape they said ^^^^ I'm pretty sure he'll provide you with it, along with the chrome accents. As for sand paper... I used Gatorgrit 80-j emery cloth. Some people are saying that you have to sand down the botom so that it would fit an OEM lip... but from what I've heard, those people have had their lips installed after buying the car. So it might have been installed too high. I havent heard from anyone that test fited it with an OEM lip that came straight from the dealership. Dont buy the sand paper yet. Pick up your face ducts and see if he'll give you the double sided tape and chrome accents. Test fit it and see if it needs sanding. If not, you might be set to go and install it right there!

btw, since I was the first one, he gave me the doubled sided tape that came with the original Ings face ducts. That means... I have JDM double sided tape!!! +5 hp right there!!!!
