Understand the doors do not change, HOWEVER if you do a search you'll come across concerns where installation of some kits put additional stress on a vehicle's frame and in some cases actually bent the frame, thus compromising structural integrity in both frontal and side impacts.

Granted, I'm by no means an expert and, in fact, may be overly sensitive on this subject - comes from being a bit older and having too much appreciation for my own well-being and the family I support, I guess. If you are in a different space or have complete faith in your installer then by all means knock yourself out!

So many haters out there. I have the Diablo door kit and bought them in San Diego. I like them on my ride. I don't open them up unless I have passengers that ride in the back or if I need to put something in the back seats. Hate all you want, something different besides just opening the door the regular way. The ladies love them, it's only the guys that hate, but they still look Caught you peeking........

why are our doors so heavy?
anyway to strip them of weight??

I'd do it if the doors were not so heavy, and if I had my engine setup the way I wanted it

from what i've read GT Factory kit sounds the best because you can tilt the doors up to 90 degrees. vertical door kit gets you about 45 i think.

CHIZELED: what's the diablo kit like, how much range of motion?

If you need a style of door to attract women/attention whoring, that is pretty bad.

the range of motion when you swing the door out (just like a regular car door) is about 16 inches, then you can slide out, or if you choose, you can raise the door. My doors go up I believe to 85 degrees. You can adjust them to 90 degrees if you like. Mine look almost 90, but you can't tell. As for pics, I have to take new pics of my ride from different angles. I only have pics from when I first bought my ride. I have new mods now, planning on getting my OEM 19's color matched to my car w/a chrome lip(Athens Blue), but don't know how it may look. I think lambo doors are pretty cool but I would never get them because they are little too flashy for me. I like looking at them though when other people have them.

I always wished all cars just opened like that stock so we all wouldn't have to worry about door dings. =)

Optional
Rice. If it were a Japanese vehicle trait I'd be more apt to endorse it. But it isn't. As far as I know the only Japanese car that has ever had scissor doors was/is the Laraki Fulgura. $hit, thats not the name. That was a Morroccan concept car. Damn what was that thing called?
