Hey guys...

I'm in the market for an aftermarket grill (UTR vs. Silvia vs. Gialla vs. Data), but I'm concerned with the trouble people have been having matching the IP. Do you think that the grill is so small that any color variation would be negligible? Can you IP owners chime in? I definitely don't want to go the blending route.

Also, how do you install that stock Mt. Fuji emblem back in there. I really like the look of these grills w/ the emblem.

One more thing, how much is a reasonable price to get the grill painted? Do I just provide the Dupont paint codes to the body shop?

My grill matched my NISMO front bumper just fine (both ar fiberglass), but are slightly off under flourescent lights. In the sunlight, you can't notice a difference. I think you'll be fine, as long as you have a bodyshop that doesn't mind trying to match it. The just have to find the right number of coats of ivory and pearl for the fiberglass to match the metal panels.

Don't expect then to be able to match any better than the factory did between the OEM metal panels and the OEM urethane bumpers. That way, you should be pleased.
