Some people just break the trim off, but it can be taking without breaking it. Simply take off the whole center piece and fold the boot inside out. You'll see a thin piece like a square paperclip attached to the boot. Pull it apart and the silver trim will detach.

did anyone ever find the part number for the 350z shifter bezel? Also a guy on here is going to be making titanium and aluminium ball type auto shifter, that's what I'm waiting for.

06 5AT Coupe

I just installed this on my Coupe is there anyone that has been able to put this a little lower on the shift rod. I think it sticks a little to high for my liking and would like to give it a low profile look

after removing your stock shifter, you will see a plastic piece in the middle, in which you will need to pull upwards to remove.

After the removal of the plastic piece you will then be able to lower the **** about another 1" or so.
