Gordgee (Grounding Gear) sells good quality filters which have a HEPA filter for better filtration and odor removal.

Not only was the filter dirty, but so was the housing and turbine.

How often does everyone change their in-cabin filter?

wow thats ridiculous

Id agree with some of the others that it should be changed through the checkups through infiniti.

thanks for sharing, ill be well aware to always make sure its being changed either by them or myself!!!!

I think I just unscrewed 4 screws or so and disconnected its power cord. I haven`t changed my filter since I originally posted. I used Q-Tips, paper towels and I think warm water to clean it. The purpose of this turbine is to push the air out of the vents(for the heat and AC). It controls how much air is forced out. I just thought since it was that dirty it couldn`t hurt to be clean. After all it touches the same air that is blown into the cabin.
