Anyone know where I can get switches that fit in the center console? Like the ones used for seat heaters and such. I want to hook them one up to the amp and the other one to the CarPC I'm building.

 

It would be worth getting the exact switches from Nissan to conform with the seat heater switches. I doubt they're that expensive.

I have a coupe and there is an almost perforated extra spot on the middle console where a switch could go. I asked Infiniti was it was for and they said it was a "power shifter" switch or something like that in another version. They said they weren't out yet, or didn't have them, or something like that so I preordered one. It was about $30. I'm planning on wiring the GPS switch to it to cut of that dang safety feature of not letting me play while I'm driving. Cross your fingers that I don't run into a bridge or something.

 

You have a 2004? Is it a 5AT or 6MT? The early 2003 6MT had two spots for extra switches, because that console came from a 350Z. One of them was for the Zs Hazard Switch, the other for ?, It was located between the seat heater switches. I have a 2003, but have updated my console, and I have no extra blanks now.

2004 5AT. My extra spot is at the top right of the center console. I'm waiting on the switch to get in. I'll post a picture when I get it.

 

do you have part numbers? I too want tuse this for the NAV/tuner toggle and NAV VSS toggle.

That's what I was going to use it for - switch that dang safety feature off and on. I had the part number because I had the invoice, but I'm not sure what I've done with it. The part is suppose to be in to the dealer in December, so when I get it, I'll post the part number. Sorry I don't have it now.
