help, i cut my leather seat!!!

I accidently cut my right front leather seat. dam!! I went to the dealer and they told me that they gotta replace a part of the leather cover, but it costs $250. that is really expensive for me , so i just use the thread sewing the crack. Anyone know where I can get it fixed in least cost. thanks very much for your help .(by the way i am in toronto,Canada)

A local upholstry shop is your best bet.

^Plus one but as bad as I hate to say it I'd take it to the stealership so that way you will get quality and not a defect.

Sewing night work for cloth interior, but it will look like crap on leather. Just do the right thing and get it replaced, you will be glad you did in the long run. Its not a civic, treat it right.

If you cant afford the replacement right now, just put some tape over it to hold it over.

no no no!

The tape will seriously screw up the leather!

Take it to an upholstery shop and have them do something that will hold it over for a while. I had a whole seat redone at a shop and it was only $150, and it turned out great.

^ my gf cut my rear seats accidentally...now Im gonna take the plunge and do this myself.

There are guys who specialize in leather repairs and they are mobile. I'm surprised that your Dealer didn't suggest it. For a minor tear expect to pay around $75 and it will look perfect. If your Dealer can't suggest anyone, call around. Most Dealers use them and they can make recommendations.

Nice. I wonder if someone has custom done the outers vs the inners. As it's the outers that show the wear on my seats
