So tonight on the way to a friend's house, I was pushing the g kind of hard and managed to fishtail around a corner and almost lost control. I continued driving and everything seemed fine. After a few hours i decided to leave and everything still seemed fine, but as I was driving I noticed that the speedo, clock, radio, and a/c controls were dimming; basically the whole dash, and by the time I got home, there was no light coming from the dash at all. I don't think its the battery because the car starts fine and all of the exterior lights work.
I have an 03 6mt

What could be the problem?

check your **** that adjusts brightness of the lights - right next to the trunk pop button. if not that, then it may be the fuse? - next to your left foot, when you're sitting in the driver's seat.

 

yeah it was the ****.. I feel like an idiot now lol. I don't recall ever turning it off though =/.. oh well

You probably turned it down not knowingly when you were turning the VDC off, happens all the time.
