Steering wheel shedding!

my leather steering wheel is shedding, it is an 04 sedan, is there anything in particular i should do, is it covered by warrenty?

theres a thread somewhere about this. i dont remember if its covered or not. but to my knowledge, its wear and tear item, so no its not covered.
