Hey guys, I wanted to know how much would it cost to replace the Inserts on the door panel of g35 coupe. Theres a guy on here selling a coupe but it has aftermarket red inserts and wonder how much do you guys think it would be get them back to OEM or atleast black?
I called Infiniti and they said I would have to replace the whole door panel which i know is too expensive, i tried calling an aftermarket upholstery place but they said they would have to look at the car first, and all they said it is that its about 100/hr for labor give or take.
Any ideas??

 

Check in the forums Marketplace under accessories. There are some people selling interior parts. It'll probably be cheaper that way.

 

If You Want Your Interior Parts Back To Black....buy Some Flat Black Spray Paint For Interior...it Comes Out Perfect...just Like The Oem Black Panels...quick And Inexpensive

Or you can get some inserts upholestered in black Alcantara suede, perforated too. That would look nice. It's expensive though.

 

Nah just wanted the inserts back to stock. if you want to see pics the guy is selling it in the classisfieds, it says a 04 g35 with warranty in it. you can see the red inserts in the pics.

 

You may be able to replace the panels.

I'm talking about the leather insert on the two doors thats behind the handle.

 

I bought the panel for 150.
Will let mine go. I can check on the other side too.

 

So a brand new interior door panel was just $150? Is this coupe or sedan?

THey are $560 each , with no trim ,or switches. And that was my dealer cost i believe. You can remove those inserts and replace them very easily. If you can cut and glue, you can replace it. I just did it on my coupe.
