was thinking about getting recaros from an older evo wanted to see if it had be done, or any stock seat other than G seats for that matter, thanks. ive got a DG coupe with black interior.

I say dont do it because it will be a downgrade. The G seats cup you pretty much the best Ive felt out most sports cars other than a ferrari, lambo ( I used to high end valet). The 350z seats hold you better, because face it...leather slides a little more. The g35 seats hold you in well, look best and have seat warmers etc. I have 03 coupe seats, meaning I have to manually recline my seats, lame but I wish I had 04's.

seats make a WORLD of difference. really feels like a whole new car when youre being held well. sometimes ill make a turn and itll send my flying out of my seat into the door. but its pretty cold when i get into my car some cloth seats wouldnt be as cold, initially anyway. have a dg coupe i think the black/blue recaros would look good with my black interior

 

seems like you didnt really want anyones advice, your gonna do it anyway

 

id say do what you want. if it works for you then do it your driveing it. i would have them wrapped in leather though to match the rear seats

 

do we have a aftermarket seat thread? cant find one, just some pics here and there mostly brides

 

the reason why i dont daily drive my evo anymore is because its not comfortable. nissan never made the G to really be a high performance vehicle like the evolution. let alone your going to lose your seat heaters, auto adjust, and leather. the stock recaros are a pain in the A$$ to adjust when driving. The ONLY evo seat that i would recommend to put in your G would be the SSL evo seats. theyre really heavy but they are leather and pretty comfortable. the problem with those seats are the price and the rarity.

The only thing i would go for is JDM Evo MR seats or Recaro Speed.
Don't put the USDM Evo or the ITR seats on the G because it's totally out of place.
And what color of interior do you have?
