possible to disassemble wiper switch assembly?

I was able to detach the wiper switch assembly from the steering column, but is it even possible to disassemble the 'stick' portion?

As a side note, has anyone seen the used/trashed instrument culster (tach, speedo, etc) + the two combination switches (light and wiper) for sale anywhere?

This is all I could find in the ESM on Wiper and Washer Switch Assembly:

Re: possible to disassemble wiper switch assembly?

Yup, that's as far as I've already gotten. I'm trying to take apart the switch itself. At the tip of the stick looks like a cap, but probably a one-way design and not meant to be pop'd back out once snapped in.

Thanks for your help gsedanman!

I'm trying to install a push button switch at the 'tip' of the stick for my Valentine-1.

Anyone else brave enough to have cracked the sucker open yet?
