airbag light blinking
airbag light blinking
I need some help with this. I took apart my dash to install something and disconnected many of the connectors under the dash, but I also made sure I connected each and everyone of them back before I was done. Now my airbag light is blinking. The dealer told me that this would not be under warranty since it was something I did and that they would charge a minimum of $95 to find out what the problem is and more if they have to do something else. I'm thinking that this problem can be fixed by simply reseting the airbag light. Anyone have any ideas how to do this?

Re: airbag light blinking
Try disconnecting the negative ground of the battery for 12 hrs. This may reset the blinking light... Good luck.

Re: airbag light blinking
there is a DIY/FAQ section that show how to reset it without diconnecting the battery. stupid as i am, i did happen trigger the airbag. i follow the procedure and it work like a charm. hope that help. Below is an exact quote i got from that thread.
"To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away. Bam! saved yourself $90
