Question About Door Panel?

Well have I had a day! I went to get my windows tinted and it turned into a nightmare. They said that they need to heat them with a heat gun so that the auto down feature does not mess them up. So that was fine up until I went to get into the car. The dumb *** that did it evidently touched the heat gun to the top of the door and melted the door in about 10-15 places. The owner was very nice and is going to order the part and replace it for me. The question I have is it is on the very top part and and it appears that it is a separate piece and he will not have to buy the whole door panel. Is this correct or is the door panel one piece? Thanks!

Man two of these threads in the same week. Sorry to hear your panel got torched, I believe from what I read in the other thread the whole panel needed to be replaced (and it wasn't cheap either). Any pictures of the damage?

Same thing happened to me a couple of years back.

I'm pretty sure they had to replace the whole panel.

sorry to hear about what happened to your interior panel.
I think the smart thing they could had done was to remove your door panels to apply the tint without sacrificing whether it will mess up or not, that way, you the customer can go home happy.

sort of off topic, didn't want to start another thread.
does anyone have a clue where to find the parts # for the rear passenger side interior panel for a 04 Sedan in black.
