Looks tacky and out of place. So I just paid 30 bucks for a new aluminum cover.

Do you have some interior shots of your kit installed? Please post them.
Where'd you get them? Local dealer or someone on here? Do you have a part number?

Being a noob has nothing to do with taste. However, there are real carbon fiber wrapped pulls available. You specifically said they are not available, and only overlays are. And technically you are right. The real carbon fiber does "overlay" the pull, but the term overlay generally assumes vinyl. I'm sure that is where the confusion is.

i think they'd look nice with these:

Hey! That handle pull overlay looks pretty clean and nice, definitely beats that original plastic. Is that hard cover or vinyl film that you use with heat gun and soap water? Pls tell!!

Thanks

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my post, but those are not [vinyl] overlays.

Like I said, its a little tacky to me. Doesn't matter if its real CF or faux, not for me.

Matches the lighting, and the orange stitching on the steering wheel.

the suede looks kick ***, but i thought it wasnt durable? after grabbing it every day and having dirty hands occasionally it might be ruined.
