Gauge Cluster Dead

I need some help, last night I was driving and my radio started to go out, sounded like a loose wire and only the front right speaker worked. Then after about 2 hours i try to drive home again and my gauge cluster has nothing on or working? Also i can rev my car past maybe 2k RPM(Im guessing 2K I cant see it work) the car will cut out if i try to rev past that??
I did some searching and found that maybe its a problem with the IPDM unit, I have checked all fuses and they are fine, car is acting really starnge, the lights stay on by themself, the door open alarm wont work. I could start and drive the car but cant rev it high. Finally after maybe another 3 hours the battery died.
Anyone could help me with this, car is dead now
Could this be the alternator??

Did some searching on the forums, sounds like the IPDM is crapped out. Another member in NY had this issue with these symptoms.
And originally no the light did not dim,
