Little revival here! I am trying to put a G37 cluster in my 04, I will be test fitting it tonight. I am finding out it is going to be anything but easy.. I have printed out the pinouts/schematics on both clusters and it seems that the g37 has an extra "Controller" in addition to the bcm to get status of certain items but it also seems this piece has the input for the speed signal and other important items. The G35 cluster is configured for a 2 pulse speed signal and the G37 is an 8 pulse speed signal so getting this done and functioning is looking pretty grim. Can any of you g37 guys shed some lite on this "unified meter and a/c amp"? Also does anyone know of a CAN system converter that can say, take a 2 pulse and turn it into 8? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

for those who are looking for DIY thread here it is. It wont become the g37 cluster but it will change the led bulbs to the color you want.

I think the part you want might be found or made of parts that could be found here http://www.allelectronics.com

I've taken my dashboard and console apart. Basically I want to change the interior colour from beige to matte black, I am refurbishing the dash with Alcantara, and I've reached the part where I have to take out the gauge cluster, I am having difficulty locating the screws to do that. As for the gauge cluster, would like to change the background and lights.

We might have to link up because I'm planning to convert to a G37 with mine. I'm sure there's a way to take that 2 pulse into a 8 pulse lol, we would get better luck at the12volt.com
