interior scracthes/peeling

Okay, I know this has been brought up tons before and from what I've read, I think I have the same issue. In the driver's door handle, the color/paint has peeled away and there is a small chip in the paint on the steering wheel under the "select" button.

I think this is the issue that people have been talking about where they have gotten it taken care of under warranty, but does anyone have any pictures so that I can confirm?

Thanks!

you don't need to confirm with us, if it's under warranty, just bring it into the dealership, they are the one who will decide if they will cover it or not. They most likely will, but some ppl have had a tough time about it. The dealership will evaluate it even though you tell them everything you have read online, so what we say don't really, they are the one who will make the ultimate decision.

Still would like to see what others are talking about, so if I do bring up the idea that others have had this problem, I'd know if I'm making it up or not...

Sorry to bring up a stale thread, but guys i'm really wanting to make a good planned attempt at getting my scratched up doors and steering wheel replaced and I have four months left on the warranty.

Like the previous post says, does anyone have a copy of the invoice or any documentation of getting the work done???

I heard there was a TSB on this but it doesn't seem to exist, can anyone shed any light on that??

Thanks in advance -guitarguy

It WILL be replaced no questions asked. Chipping is chipping. You could post pix of what you got and we could look instead of the ladder part of what you said.

you dont need to have the TSB in hand when you come in they have it in their computers. just tell them. they will write it verbatium, "clients states etc...." and will be no charge.

i have hard my arm rest replaced.. 2 times under warranty, but the problem is the martial in the car is cheap.. it aint real leather. I talked with the guy that repaired it at the dealership and he was giving me the run down about the martial in the car. It's difficult to get seats replaced.. because they will tell u it's just wear and tear.. I have an o7 as well

I have my 2 rear door Pulls ordered on Sat, nver even looked at the parts, just ordered it for me! since i had the 2 front ones replaced already! But want to get them replaced before my warranty expires, so it had a little help from my fingernails! HEHE

Some dealers are real cool about stuff, others a just a PITA to get anything done!
