steering wheel scratch?

Hey guys

I manage to scratch off some paint from the metal area on my steering wheel (right above the source button). I picked up a small bottle of flat black paint from the hobby store but it doesn't match.

Has anyone ever touched up the paint on the steering wheel? Any recommendations on what paint I can purchase?

Thanks!

if i remember correctly there is no metal part on the housing or the steering itself its all plastic and o7 plastic is apparently too soft and gets scratched easily UNLIKE the 08+ which is said to be a different material that does not scratch so easily as stated by other members, so your best bet would be to replace it with an 08+ trim piece IMO

I got mine replaced at the dealer under warranty. Try doing that.

Just got my steeringwheel and shift **** replaced under the manufactures warranty because of scratches. the leather doesn't seem as soft as the other..and i'm questioning it if it's even real leather??? it's really rough!
