Passenger window goes 1/3 of the way down anytime I auto-close it

Passenger window goes 1/3 of the way down anytime I auto-close it

Guys,

About a month ago I noticed anytime I depress the passenger side window "up" button for two seconds (to initiate the auto-close feature), the window closes, but then always retracts (opens) about 1/3 of the way down. Is this an issue with the motor, actuator, or some other electrical component?

Bah, this happened to me too. The window motor needs to be recalibrated, something with the motor's memory being all f***ed up..mine was under warranty and was fixed in a heartbeat. Nothing too serious!

I'm out of warranty, any idea how to re-calibrate it? I have the FSM, so I guess I can check there but figured I'd see if any fellow G35'ers know right where to go...

eesh, can't help you there lol..Inskip Infiniti did mine for me but I'm sure one of the G-niouses out there can help..

The problem is that the window limit switch needs to be reset, and it's very easy to do yourself. Happened to me twice ever since I owned my G for three years. Check the discussion thread below for the procedure:
