Steering wheel replaced under warranty...

Hi guys...short version...Took the car to the dealer for maintenance about a month ago. Service adviser gets in the car to check the millage and sees the steering wheel that had all sorts of ugly scratches around the radio and cruise control buttons. She says, ugh what an ugly steering wheel, do you want to replace it? I go, under warranty for free?? she says sure...

About a week a go they call me, steering wheel is here, when can you come in???

Anyways, the important thing is that Infiniti stepped up and replaced the steering wheel. So all of you with scratch plastic on the steering wheel go ask the dealer to replace it...

Hope this is helpful...

My steering wheel was replaced under warranty for scratches, too.

Also replaced (all on separate occasions):
Steering column - would not telescope in/out
Turn signal switch - would work intermittenty
Dash - warping issue that many seem to have

The leather on my steering wheel is starting to wear out after only less than 2 years.
Anyone know if that would be covered under warranty?

Just got my steeringwheel and shift **** replaced under the manufactures warranty because of scratches. the leather doesn't seem as soft as the other..and i'm questioning it if it's even real leather??? it's really rough!

Yes, it's real leather. It'll smooth out once it starts to wear. No worries. I had my wheel replaced also, but I swear it's a little off center to the right after replacement.
