how to remove this part?

is this (the yellow part) easily removed?

i think you have to remove the door panel and then crack it apart and then glue it back together when you're done

so... no, not very easy!

IIRC, that is not a separate piece. If you want to reupholster that panel, you need to rip off the old material and glue on a new piece. Hard part is tucking the edges in the groove so that you end up with a clean look.

that's my plan, too. shouldn't be too hard as i don't have a sunroof.
