I have a 2005 G35 Sport Sedan that came with one Intelligent key. The dealer that I got the car from, gave me another intelligent key UNPROGRAMMED. The key that the dealer gave me has the same numbers and are on the bottom of the I-key (when u take the manual key out..the FCC and IC numbers). I took it to the dealer and they told me that the key that i want programmed to the car is not "communicating" with the car. Is there a certain type of key that I need? Or a "code" or something? They're asking for $175 for a key FROM the Infiniti dealer and programming. And over $300 for the key, the programming AND the manual key cut. How do I know if a I-Key will work with my car? for example one that I can buy online NOT from infiniti?
