Window Stuck in down postion

My window was acting up for a long time. It finally gave up on me two days ago and got stuck in the down position and won't come up no matter what I do. I took the door panel apart to see what what I can do to push it up but no luck.

I understand I most likely need a new motor which I'm OK buying online but that will take at least a week to arrive and with snow, I can't quite drive with the window open all the way.

How can I force the window to close manually?
Thanks!

Have the problem, it got to the point that slapping the door don't even work lol. I don't know what the deal is with these window motors, seems like everyone's got problems with them.

WELCOME TO THE ClUB

I hate to say it but welcome to the club i currently have one on order for my driver side for 205 dollars. But on top of that my passenger just went out. I went a couple places and had to order it cause i think people hate selling it cause this is my 5 warranty replacement. But the good news is I can swap it out in less than 15 mins now.
