I just bought a G and the seat height is stuck in the raised position. I was thinking maybe the button was bad, but when the car is off you can see the interior lights dim a tad bit when the button is pushed or raised. This leads me to believe the motor might be bad.

Anyone have any experience with this? Which motor controls the seat height? Any other possible reasons why this might be happening?

 

Just incase I'm going crazy, can anyone confirm if my seat button to function mapping is correct for the driver side seat.

In order from front of car to back:
1. Front/Rear Movement
2. Tilt
3. Seat Height

 

thats right. push down to lower, push up to raise.

 

do the non electric seats (03 sedan) have height adjustment as well??
