Can I add heated seats to my G?

I have a 03.5 sedan with premium. I dont however have the heated seats. Is it possible to install the heated seat coils and switches in my car? Would I just have to go buy some heated G seats and switches? or is there more to the system that would cause some issues? Thanks for your input.

i'm not a "professional" but i doubt there will be problems... it's just a simple toggle switch, nothing else...

04 / Black on Black / aero / splash / prem / perf / cc / 22%tint
z-tube / k&n drop-in / Stillen anti-sway bars / side-blinker mod
Eclipse AudioVideoNavigation 2454 / 10W6 sealed + 250/1 (temporary)

Are the wiring harnesses the same on the seats? Do I need new seats? Or is it relatively inexpensive to get the hardware?

There are companies that make aftermarket kits for these. If you like, you can even add a massage feature at the same time. I don't have a link or name to offer you, but these definately exist....try a Google search. Basically you need to remove the seat covers to do the install. As I recall, the sets of heaters and electronics for a pair of seats (w/o massage) ran about $400. I've been thinking about adding them for my rear seats.

I was thinking the same thing. I used to live in Phoenix Arizona and that is where I purchased my g35 without heated seats (because the seats are already heated there ) I however moved to NW Indiana where my leather freakin cold seats are keeping me from staying warm. I need a quick fix and that it either someone that wants to trade or someone can tell me if all the parts are ordered from Infiniti would it work correctly? Does anyone have the part #'s.

I know this is old but I've been looking into doing this as well. Has anyone done this yet or know. I think if everything is under the seat then it would be all good. All you need is the seat, the wire harness and the switch. If thats the case then I think all you would need to do is hook it up to some power.

no you can't, you need a new seat bottom for a factory kit and that seat bottom and top runs about 2k for each piece (thats warrenty cost mind you), and if you get an aftermarket kit, be prepared to buy a new seat bottom anyway everyone that i have seen with that, has melted the leather, just deal with it, or shell out some serious cash to get it done right. if it even can, the accual interior harness might be differant also i havn't really checked into it. but there might be all kinds of extra splices, and added wires in the premium package car. i wouldn't think about it to much.
