g37 seats fit in g35?
#19
Been wondering about this for a while. Looking online again for some decent g35 seats and again found some nice g37 seats and ran across this thread. Did you have to make any modifications, wire splice, airbag light, etc, etc....

Did you do the swap install? Can you elaborate on the modifications that are necessary for the swap? Any photos or detailed directions would be greatly appreciated....

Was it difficult to mount the g37 coupe seat in a g35 coupe? Is it plug and play? What were some of the obstacles you had to deal with? Have u encountered the bottom seat cushion collapsing? I read that is one of the flaws with that seat.

do you have any pictures and is everything working properly, and what was the year /model of both vehicles

2010 G37s Passenger Seat on 2003 G35
Since I dont find any help about how to wire the pinout of 2010 G37 Passenger Seat to 2003 Brembo Edition G35 I do my self and I want to share if some want to do in a future
1. I cut every cable on the white 12 pin plug under g35 passenger seat.
2. I cut every cable on the white 12 pin plug under g37 passenger seat.
3. The step 1 and 2 are not necessary if you could pull out the pin on the G37 white plug in my case I couldn't.
4. This is what I did to solder the G37 cables that previous cut from the plug to solder to the G35 plug.
Power Seat
G37 Seat Plug----------- G35 Seat Plug ------------G35Plug on Car--- What for?
Light Green ---------------Skinny Red/White ------- Pink ------------------Door Switch
Blue -------------------------Skinny White ------------- Light Green --------Buckle Switch
Width Red ---------------- Width Red ---------------- Width White --------12 volts from BCM Body Control Module
Width Red/White -------- Width Red/White ------- Orange ------------- 12 volts from Battery Fuse
Width Black --------------- Black ---------------------- Black ---------------- Ground
Skinny Black/White ----- Connect on any sources of Ground I jump to Black
With the upper wiring connection the seat will
1. The entire seat will slide to forward and back
2. The entire seat will up and down
3. The back rest will tilt forward and back
Power Heater
I do not connect the Power Heater I live in Puerto Rico and here we don't needed. But I will tell you what left.
G37
Skinny Yellow ----------------------- 12 Volts Power Supply
Skinny Black ------------------------ Operation Signal
Skinny White ------------------------ Heat Switch Signal
G35
Skinny Sky Blue -------------------- Speed Signal is 12 volts when car is on.
Skinny Yellow ----------------------- Seat Back Heater
Skinny Grey ------------------------- Seat Cushion Heater
Dont ask me about the Heater because I pass over.
Airbag
The Airbag plug is the same on both model G37 and G35 that just plug and play.
Seat Belt.
I transfer the seat belt from my G35 to G37 seat so the plug is the same so its just plug and play.
What next the Driver Seat I will post soon thanks
