My Custom iPod in coin holder
Hey guys, going to apologize first bc i didnt take photos throughout the process....camera was dead and i wasnt patient enough to wait
anyway, in a nut shell this is what i did
- i got a used coin holder and tore out the "tray" portion
- still using the shell of the coin holder, i made a "shelve" with some cardboard and tape
- used some bondo to create something sturdy
- covered bondo
- made the opening slightly larger along the bottom and there ya go...
in between all of this is lots of sanding and trimming to get everything to fit right...i still have some touch up work to do on the corners but overall its pretty much done.
im using the USA Spec ipod interface.....im very happy with the outcome, with and without the ipod attached
