The problem with spray paint is that it just doesn't have the durability needed since its a high traffic area. Eventually twill fade or get messes up from getting something sticky on there. Even the factory coating doesn't have the durability. With real paint it will last forever and have rock solid durability and protection. Any scratches can be buffed right out and if kept waxed things wont stick to it and can be cleaned with just a wipe

 

soooo if i paint it with a brush/mini roller and can paint would it be the same process as spray paint?

clean->sand->primer->sand->primer->sand->paint->sand->paint->sand->paint->sand->clearcoat->clearcoat->clearcoat->buff->wax?
