My dash kit is installed
It came out great. Check it out (there are two pages).
Note: I didn't use one piece, the one around the shifter. The metal looked okay to me and I didn't want to remove the shifter. Also, I don't have a rear vent or the navigation system for which there are pieces.

If you want a similar kit (same color or different) talk to Joe Micalli (800-277-6458). The price he gave me for the kit is $295 + $10 shipping. The web site lists the kit at $450, so compared to other kits this is a real bargain.
I asked if I could post the price he gave me and he said yes. So you can call for samples and to order (ask for Joe).

WOW! that looks REALLY good. What color is that? Was it hard to install? Did he give you the pieces to fill in the holes for the heated seats? I can't tell in the picture. If so, I really was hoping the cut outs wouldn't be so obvious.
Great job, Howard!!

The color I used was cherry rosewood. It is a synthetic.
They have not given me the pieces for the heated switch yet. He said he will and will "add" it to the kit. Without them, the heated seats, the "holes" are there, but not that bad. I do want the plugs however.
It was easy to install. Patience and a hairdryer is all that was needed. With my daughter handling the hairdryer, it took about 2 hours before the football game, halftime, and about another 30 minutes after the game
I suspect that the kit will be the same for the coupe, but it may not be. Give Joe a call he is very helpful.
Some advice on any installation of kits. Do all the prep cleaning (with rubbing alcohol ) first. Then use the adhesive promoters everywhere needed. The reason for this is that the adhesive promotors (the white sticks on the full kit picture bottom left) evaporate very quickly. So you want to use them before they are gone. There are more than enough if you do it this way. If you use them one piece at a time, you won't have enough.

It was purely based on color. If the color I liked the best was wood, I would have got that.
He sent me two sets of samples (synthetic and wood) and that was the color I liked the best.

Can you tell any difference b/c synthetic and wood? I think the color I like it synthetic as well. Also, do the air vents still slide up an down easily now that you've put the wood pieces on them? I really like the wood on the door handles (which by the way, Joe appears to be the only one that has those!)...does it lay flush with the rest of the armrest?
Spoke with Joe Friday, he'll be calling me back Monday so I can place my order. I'm really excited now...your car looks really good. He told me he should be finding out about the heated seat plugs soon (he just got back from Aruba), and hopefully will have it to you and have it added to the kit asap.

Re: My dash kit is installed
I had wood in my J30 and when it's polished and finished like it was, there doesn't seem to be a much of a difference in the looks and feel. Can I tell the difference? Now that I know, maybe. When Joe sent me the samples, I didn't notice that one page was wood and one was synthetic, when I picked the color
No problem with the air vent, they slide perfectly. Just be patient putting it on.
I'm not sure how added pieces can ever be "flush", e.g. the door pieces. But honestly, I like the feel of them on the door handle better than it was before.
BTW and believe it or not, the hardest piece to put on was the smallest (#9) over the weird area. My fingers couldn't get in there. so it is a little off center. Use tweezers.
The other hardest piece was the piece #15, because it bends the most. Just make sure it is soft by using the hair dryer a little longer.
I’ll be glad to answer any other questions you have, just let me know. Check the first post about other installation advice.
