Hello fellow G35ers. I have been searching for the last 2 weeks on the subject of swapping out seats from a 2006 G35 Coupe to a 2004 G35 Coupe. I know it will not be a plug and play system when it comes to this.

All of the forums and post I have found on the subject is that of swapping seats from a Coupe to a Sedan, and not much information or pics are posted.

I just purchased ALL of the interior ( floor to ceiling ) from an 06 G35 Ivory Pearl with Wheat interior and I want to swap out and sell my interior from my 2004 Twilight Blue Metallic with Siege/Tan interior. On my interior - the drivers seat has the ( seemingly ) normal tear in the leather by the left leg / butt. My passenger and rear seats are in near perfect condition. No one had ever sat in the backseat until my daughter did. The lady I purchased it from had no kids.

I will be posting pics of me seats and interior that I am selling once I start the project. The steering wheel and Dash are also in near perfect condition. Not a scratch on them.


Im also trying to swap out the dash. There was a post from PR-G35Driver about swapping out an 03 to an 05-07 dash, put he never completed it. Here is the link:

I would also like to know if anyone knows if its possible to change the gear shift from an 06 into an 04. I have also searched that with no avail.

I will be posting pics of me seats and interior that I am selling once I start the project. The drivers seat a has the usual tear that all G's seem to have, but all the other seats are perfect. So is the steering wheel and Dash. Not a Scratch.

I just wanna have all the information on the swap and wiring of the seats and dash ( if possible ) before I start tearing my car apart.

The gear shift can but its gotta be a custom job..

No but ive seen it done.. The bezel fits but you have to fill the gaps left then paint it the center console..

* note this uses the existing 04 console so if you swap the whole dash i dunno how that'll work?
