Center console removal?
Center console removal?
Hey guys, I've been searching for this a bit today and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. If there is already a thread that will answer my question please direct me to it, I'd be grateful. My question is this - I plan on removing my center console (2004 g35x), the part in between driver and passenger that has the cupholders, shifter, etc. My question is, are there any fragile pieces that could break when I'm attempting to pry it away far enough to unscrew the bolts that connect the round shift plate (plastic that reads the 'park' 'reverse' 'neutral' 'drive')? Also, are there any major wiring/electronic stuff I should be careful of when doing this? Forgive me if this is a petty question, I've never once modified the interior of any of my cars. I'm putting in one of the auto shift boots with an aftermarket auto shift ****. I can't stand the tacky silver plastic shift plate and the squeeze button golf club shifter anymore. lol. Thanks everyone
