Window question

Which side is sitting where it is supposed to?? Both doors are open.. Driver side goes all the way up when the door is open and when it's closed it slides up to seal like I thought it should do.. I replaced the passenger side motor a while back and when I close the window with the door open it drops down and still seals when I close the door but it hits hard when the window is fully open and I notice that it squeeks in the winter and once in a while when I try to close it it drops halfway open.. So go check your window people and let me know.. Lol

DRIVER SIDE

PASSENGER SIDE that I replaced the motor

You probly need to do the window motor reset...look it up it's fairly easy and lets car re adjust itself to factory heights

I was thinking that, but since it doesn't go all the way up to begin with I figured it wouldn't work.. Lol

Mine was the same way because I'd work on car with door open and took off battery connections and when i finished and closed up everything both my windows wouldn't go all the way up..which lead me to believe the window motor "thinks" that is fully closed where it's at due to battery resetting it all and windows were still down. Then I did this reset and all my problems went away

No that's suppose to happen. It's so that there's not a lot of impact on window itself when door gets slammed..like earlier models cars like camaros has no upper frame around window so when it was slammed hard the windows would snap

My problem was that the windows wouldn't roll up to the right positions so I did that reset to make it back to factory operations
