Driver's seat tune-up

I just picked up an 05 sedan and the driver's seat needs some TLC. The power functions seem to be working normally, but the forward/backward motion is very sluggish and grindy. When the seat reaches full forward, the left and right sides are a bit off. One side reaches the end a bit before the other.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has pulled there seat out and cleaned out the tracks and other steps to refurbish the functioning of the seat, other than buying replacement parts.
