So recently I purchased a Black driver seat from a 2006 G35 Coupe. The only difference with this seat is that it has the "seat memory options" on the side. When installing the seat, all the harness connectors connected normally except one. On my original seat, the connector is, I believe a 12 pin and the female connector on the black seat is for a 16 pin male connector (I'll provide pictures below). I still have the male connector for the black seat since it was still connected. I was wondering if it was possible wire up the 16 pin connector to the harness of my G35 so it could connect up to the female connector of the seat. Or is there anything else anyone could recommend? I do not care if the memory feature of the seat works since my original one didnt have that. Any advice would really be appreciated.
You'll have to take the FSM from both vehicles and figure out which wire is which. Yes it's possible to make those seats work in your car, no you won't retain the memory function.
